Paper Paper Use A4 size paper for all your notes and writing. This is now the standard size for most writing you will do in school, college, or work. Use lined paper for handwriting, plain paper for printing or typing. Use only one side of each sheet. Store your pages carefully in folders with clear name labels. Computer paper If you are printing onto a roll of computer paper, remove the strips at each edge which have sprocket holes. Detach the pages from each other before submitting your work. Don't forget to number the separate pages. What to avoid Don't use small reporters' notepads [except maybe for field visits]. Small pages are easily lost. Don't used narrow-lined pages for handwritten work. This usually makes writing difficult to read. Don't use unlined paper for handwritten work. Don't fold the pages of your work. This makes them harder to mark. |
