Meditation
Meditation can help you to relax by clearing your mind of clutter.
Do this exercise somewhere you will not be disturbed.
Sit down in a relaxed and comfortable position with your back straight.
Close your eyes, think about something you like, and concentrate on it.
It might be a word or phrase which you say over and over again.
You might visualise a scene you find pleasing and restful. For instance,
imagine looking at a green landscape or clouds on a summer day.
Some people do this with a background of calm and soothing music.
Keep thinking about the one thing - and forget everything else.
After twenty minutes or so you should achieve a state of deep relaxation.
It is a way of calming yourself and promoting a sense of restfulness.
You are giving both your mind and your body a rest.
