Practice more

You can develop your memory - just by using it more!

Get to know your subject better - and you will remember all its important details.

Read about something in one textbook - then try another. The difference will help you fix the subject in your mind.

Read your textbook - then watch a video on the subject. The same thing happens. It sticks in your mind.

You can probably remember things such as sports results and the words to pop songs - so your memory is already working well.

You remember these things because you have taken an interest in them.

The same is true for geography, history, or any other subject. Get familiar with the main ideas, and you'll remember the details.

There's more good news. Not many subjects require you to memorise lots of facts.

It's often more important to know where and how information can be found.

Most exams require you to think carefully and explain yourself clearly.
