Improve your knowledge

First of all, don't think you need to know everything about your subject.

Nobody knows everything - even specialists in their own subject.

Clever people are those who are always prepared to learn something new.

You will improve your knowledge simply by studying more - reading, writing, listening, watching, thinking, and learning from others.

This doesn't mean becoming a swot. It just means doing coursework and homework and taking an interest in the subjects you are studying.

And it doesn't all have to be done at once. Everybody learns by taking a series of small steps.

If you realise 'how much there is to know', you have made a major step forwards.
