| Urban myths
Pay no attention to horror stories and scare-mongering. These often
occur around exam time.
You might hear people passing on tales such the following:
"Some people walked out of the Sociology exam last year"
"An exam paper had two pages missing and had to be reset because
of protests".
"I knew a student who did no work on the course, began revising
the night before, and finished with an A grade".
Even if they are true, these stories are usually about exceptions
to what is normal.
You should concentrate on positive efforts to prepare yourself.
