There is no reason why examiners should make questions especially difficult.

All they are trying to do is check that you understand your subject.

In fact the opposite is true. Your teachers, the school, and the exam board all want as many people to pass the exam as possible.

Exam questions might sometimes be difficult - but the idea that they are trying to set traps is a myth.
