The 360° photo allows you to view the landscape on top of Axe Edge Moor. There aren't trees up here because it's too cold and wet for most of the year. I'ts also too wet for any kind of farming, not even sheep graze here. A
large number of TRIBUTARIES drain off the top of the Moor and combine
to form the channel of the River Dane. Once the river has water flowing
in its channel it begins to erode the hillside it is flowing over. |
