On 9 -12th January at London Olympia, NWLG will have its own stand and welcomes visitors to see us there.
This year we will be demonstrating our OCR Nationals Resources.
In addition we will be providing a FREE DVD titled "All you need to know about Functional Skills", in partnership with QCA, QIA and all the major examination Boards.
Finally we will show you our new Science resources, our New ICT Skills Gym and our new GCSE PE Resources!

June15th 2007 - OCR Nationals resources completed.

On June 15th 2007 NWLG completed its biggest and best set of digital resources with all 23 Units of the OCR Nationals level 2 in ICT being made available for sale. The resources cost around 10% of the commercial cost of OCR National resources. They are the only resources to have all 23 units available and the only resources available in Moodle and Learning Platform versions.  

January 22nd 2007 - NWLG wins National Award!

On 17th January 2007 at the National e-government Awards ceremony held at the Savoy Hotel in London, North West Learning Grid received the accolade of e-government Excellence in Education for its work in creating and distributing educational resources, free, to more than 3,000 secondary schools and colleges.

The award category also included finalists from the Training and Development Agency for Schools; the Police National Legal Database; The National Archives and the National Pupil Database for Wales. 

The awards are the UK's highest level commendation for the best e-Government services - services which, through innovative online delivery or IT implementation, have positively transformed the lives of citizens, local communities, business and stakeholder groups.
